A Garden Tail: From The Studio:
Wabtec Bids For The Kids
The Bloomin Fool recently stepped out of the garden and into the Omni William Penn Hotel for the 31st Anniversary Wabtec Bids for the Kids gala. I am pleased to announce that both donated original works were sold during the April 11th event. Proceeds support vital regional organizations, including Shriners Children’s Erie, Make-A-Wish, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of both Erie and Western PA.
To support the cause, I selected two portraits from the studio that capture these garden invaders in their most surreal moments—from a quiet raid on the spring tulips to a black-tie dinner on Mount Washington.
The Bloomin Fool reviews the final details of Rabbit Eating Tulips 1.0 for the photographer, just moments before the framed work is collected for the charity auction.
Dressed and ready for departure: The Bloomin Fool presents Deer Dining on Roses 1.0 in its exhibition frame as the Wabtec volunteer arrives to transport the formal pests to the gala.
