Visually, this original 8×8 inch painting frames the satirical date night against the glittering, iconic backdrop of the Pittsburgh skyline. The deep indigo night sky is balanced by meticulous, glowing staccato dashes of titanium white, zinc yellow, and warm gold that map out the dense concentration of downtown skyscrapers and bridge structures reflecting in the river below.
