A Garden Tail: From The Studio:
Wabtec Bids For The Kids

The Bloomin Fool in his private studio, dressed in character and working on an 8x8 inch acrylic self-portrait on wood panel.

The Bloomin Fool recently stepped out of the garden and into the Omni William Penn Hotel for the 31st Anniversary Wabtec Bids for the Kids gala. I am pleased to announce that both donated original works were sold during the April 11th event. Proceeds support vital regional organizations, including Shriners Children’s Erie, Make-A-Wish, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of both Erie and Western PA.

To support the cause, I selected two portraits from the studio that capture these garden invaders in their most surreal moments—from a quiet raid on the spring tulips to a black-tie dinner on Mount Washington.
